 Is there Early Registration?

No. Conference costs for all participants are as follows:

       All conference participants      $55.00

       Student participants                  $25.00

 

Can I get a refund after I’ve purchased a ticket?

All tickets are non-refundable. But they are transferable to another person.

 

What is the group rate?

To take advantage of the group rate, you must call 817-923-1921 ext. 3600 or email mbullens@swbts.edu

Receive one complimentary registration for every 10 participants from each church. You will not register individually online but instead must call or email the above contact to register your participants as a group. This will allow you to apply the complimentary registration. Registration details and other conference information will be emailed to registrants one month prior to the conference.

 

Am I eligible for the student discount?

If you are a student of any seminary, university, community college, high school, or middle school you are eligible for the student rate! Southwestern desires to make this conference as affordable as possible for those who are pursuing their education.

 

What are the bonus workshops?

Bonus workshops are focused breakout sessions that will take place Friday, Oct 28th during the day. These workshops will give practical tips, skills, and tools for the home, marriage, parenting, and the Christian walk.

 

What is the Southwestern Bazaar?
A marketplace highlighting the cottage industries of Southwestern families.

You will be able to shop and support our Southwestern students and families who are engaged in cottage industries and home businesses that help meet their needs while at Southwestern.  This is a great time to shop for holiday gifts while supporting students who are preparing for the ministry.

 

Is class credit available for this conference?

Yes! There is course credit available for the Leadership Certificate in Women’s Ministry and the Homemaking Certificate (HMKNG 4803/HMK 4233 Topics in Homemaking: Art of Homemaking Conference). Credit is also available for Southwestern Student Wives (SSSWP 5033 Special Topics: Art of Homemaking Conference.) This course is taught by Dr. Patricia Ennis, Director of the Homemaking Programs. Class lectures will take place Friday, Oct. 21st from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Those who do not live in the Fort Worth area will gain direct access to live class lectures through our SWBTS online resources.  Pre and post assignments are part of the course. You may earn up three credit hours for the completion of this course. To register for course credit, download the Application for Course Credit. What options are available for dining?

Lunch will be provided Friday and Saturday as a part of registration. There will be ample time available for dinner on your own Friday night. A list and map of nearby eateries will be provided in your registration packet. You can also download here. We will be providing beverages between sessions.

 

What options are available for lodging? 

There are several area hotels that offer a special rate for Southwestern Conference attendees. Click here to download the List of Hotels. Southwestern also has limited housing available in the Riley Center.
